One Day I Found A Lump in My Breast

In 1991 I found a lump in my breast and was faced with possible cancer. Most people don't think about death unless it is about to happen to them. This experience was quite devastating, but it became the turning point in my life which made me decide to bring my art to the public and to speak about what I have always wanted to speak about. Before, I had always wanted to maintain a private life and had been too shy to speak about these private and public issues. The experience of finding a lump in my breast, which turned out to be a cyst without cancer cells and was simply removed with minor surgery, was when I started to develop the theory and art style of Verdadism. This painting is here to make the viewer aware not to wait for a crisis in order to empower themselves with their own truth and to go for it.
