Portrait of Ruth Leifer

Ruth saw me speaking on a television program and went to the trouble of finding me. (I was very flattered.) Since then, she has been very supportive of my Verdadism concept and we have become friends. Ruth has shared her life story with me and has told me that when she was a little girl her father would not let her look out of the window...so I painted Ruth on the lower left-hand corner looking out of the window. Ruth has faced unique challenges and has overcome them. The large figure in this painting is Ruth as an adult holding her beautiful daughter, Linda, who has Downs Syndrome. Ruth cares for her and still manages to have her own business. Ruth is a positive role model for women.
